Frequently Asked Questions
Mindbody is the software we use for our booking system.
You can find this on our “timetable / bookings” tab, or by downloading the Mindbody App.
If using the Mindbody app, once you’ve opened the app type “Sparks Pilates” in the search bar, and you will find the business.
You can set up a monthly membership through the Mindbody app, or by emailing, WhatsApping, or calling us directly.
You can cancel your booking through the Mindbody app, or by emailing, calling or WhatsApping us directly.
We have a 12 hour cancellation policy on all appointments and bookings.
Cancellations made within 12 hours (and not rescheduled for the same day) will result in the loss of the session.
Our Reformer classes have a maximum of 8, Mat Pilates has a maximum of 10, and Strength classes have a maximum of 12 people.
All classes are designed to be small enough to ensure the best possible quality.
Yes, absolutely! If you’re new to Pilates, we recommend booking a Level 1 class, or contacting us for a 1:1 first if you'd prefer a more personalised start.
If you’re injured or have health problems, please state them on your medical form, which you’ll receive when signing up for your first class.
Please choose either a Level 1 class or a 1:1 session, so we can best accommodate your needs.
Depending on your injury or condition, we may contact you in advance to gather further information and ensure the class is safe and appropriate for you.
Yes, we offer a pregnancy-specific Reformer Pilates class, which you can find on the timetable.
This is the safest option, allowing us to tailor exercises to support your changing body!
Wear anything you feel comfortable to exercise in. Clothes with some stretch in are best!
Please wear grippy socks for Pilates if possible, and trainers for strength circuits.
On-street parking is available nearby and can be paid for via RingGo or at the machine.
Alternatively, the M&S car park next door or St Peter’s Multistorey Car Park are just a short walk away.
